Refractism is an experiment in transforming ordinary photographs into artistic interpretations shaped by memory, atmosphere, and emotional truth. It began in a Norfolk home, where curiosity evolved into a new visual language shaped through collaboration between human intention and AI assistance.

Refractism honours duality: the real and the remembered. Each orientation photograph begins in reality, then drifts toward how the moment felt rather than how it appeared.
